maydang.blogspot.com - In this page we will discuss a suggested build for Windwalkers on Dragon Nest at level 80 cap. To be more exact, we will tackle here the recommended skill build for Windwalkers at level 80 cap and of course, the suggested item build up for this class at that level.
First, let's discuss the skill build for a level 80 Windwalker.
Archer Tree
Level 80 PVE Windwalker Build Guide in Dragon Nest [T4]
These skills should me max at the archer tree:
-Tumble
-Urgency Trick
-HP Mastery
-MP Mastery
-Mind Conquer
-Aerial Evasion
-Pinwheel
-Moon Kick
-Somersault Kick
Notable skills on the archer tree:
Multi Shot (Lvl 6/11) – One tap mini filler which is hardly used but good to have. If you have this skill at Lvl 6…
Wise of the Owl (Lvl 3) – Only if you have Multi Shot at Lvl 6. Major crit chance booster for your party members, with 60% increase and it last 16 seconds. It will really help those who have difficulty hitting the critical cap especially INT-based classes. Eg. Moonlord, Majesty.
Both mana masteries should be max in view of the usage of Showtime buff.
Acrobat Tree

Must max acrobat skills:
-Tip Tops
-Chain Trampoline
-Shortbow Mastery
Other skills:
Spiral Kick (Lvl 16) – Not the best in terms of damage alone, but it gives iframe, and acceptable damage on its own. Also, a primary skill in the Windwalker’s skill tree.
Air Pounce (Lvl 16) – The infamous ‘wew pounce’ that has a ridiculous damage PER POUNCE and low cooldown. However good this skill may be, low FPS situations will cause this skill to fall from sky high to ground zero. Meaning you can barely pounce when your FPS is low. Also, huge bosses; mainly dragons, have weird hit boxes, making air pounce quite unusable. Nevertheless, a good skill to help with your resetting of SE if the situation if friendly to you.
Eagle Dive (Lvl 16) – Decent damage and easy to use. However, it isn’t recommended to use it when you’re overly high in air. Lest the boss smacks you while you’re about to land, the skills get cancelled immediately and you take a free hit.
Blooming Kick (Lvl 1) – Despite being a skill of the Windwalker’s tree, this skill is severely underrated due to its poor board damage. More to explain with the EX.
Cyclone Kick (Lvl 11) – Pros; High in damage, short iframe on cast. Cons; Slightly slow animation. Neutral pointers/notes; Forward kick leads to Tip Tops when you try to Tumble, You do an actual Tumble when you transit to your upward motion. These extra pointers are made to help you know how you need to react when you face a stomp-based skill in the midst of using Cyclone Kick because not all stomps can be iframed.
Spiral Edge (Lvl 2) – Very good damage(especially after buff), good AoE, easy to use. However, it owns a risk which is a tier higher than Eagle Dive. As we all already know, this skill has a 1 second charge time in air before you land hard on the ground like a nuke. Which means upon pressing this skill, your fate depends on the boss, if it decides to use a hard hitting skill, you might get screwed quite badly. Oh, not forgetting to mention, after landing, you do a crossed arm pose for another 1 second, making you twice as vulnerable. My point here is, even though you have the luxury of using this skill over and over again, bear in mind the potential consequences if you don’t time it right.
Spirit Fling (Lvl 1) – ‘Invincible Missile’ requirement. You don’t really expect this to hit anywhere near 7 digits even if you maxed this… So, Lvl 1.
Circle Shot (Lvl 1) – Airtime + iframe in one skill. Utility fueled. Pointers; do no use this skill in front of any possible boss/objects/terrain that is higher that the ground of which you use this skill. It MAY get cancelled immediately if you accidentaly move up onto the mentioned hazards.
Counter Ring Shot (Lvl 1) – Second aerial evasion. Higher levels does not reward us with lower cooldowns. Even if it does, Lvl 1 is more than enough.
Spiritual Excel (Lvl 5) – Huge Agi boost, where Agi = 0.5patk for us, why not?
Spirit Boost (Lvl 5) – Steroids! 40% movespeed and action speed up, and your skills (excluding SB itself and Beyond Time of the Force User) cooldown 40% faster. I will not be getting a skill necklace for this at all as I prefer Windwalkers to go for every small bit of damage, which in this case, FD bonuses from set accessories.
Kick Shot (Lvl 1) – Solely for iframe in this case.
Binding Shot (Lvl 1) – Filler skill; Binding Shot > DSK.
Double Somersault Kick (Lvl 11) – Not having this up to 15 for a +1. Your primary damage does not come from this. But this skill is paired with Eagle Dive EX, with decent potential overall, I have this skill up to Lvl 11.
Spiral Vortex (Lvl 11) – Plain filler skill. Easy to use, pretty low damage without the EX.
Windwalker Tree

Showtime (Lvl 4) – Higher levels does not give us extended duration but it rewards us with lower cooldowns. Less cooldown, more chances to use this. More chances to ST, more spams, which brings us to what we want – MORE NUKES!
Rising Storm (Lvl 11) – Few of the coolest skill in the game. It has iframe, good damage, and a good vacuum, not forgetting an above average wind up timing for the last hit. Most of the damage comes from the last hit of this skill, so be sure not to accidentally cancel it.
Spiral Kick EX – Extended duration, distance, and iframe. Before we go in deeper on this skill, Spiral Kick has two parts, first part being the harder hitting, and the second with the lower damage. What so good about this skill then, why separate it into two significant parts? The first part of this skill regards you as airbourne, which means this is one of the core skills you will need to get your SE reset without ST buff.
Eagle Dive EX – I’ll be honest here, the EX makes this skill FEEL a lot safer and a lot cooler, not to mention stronger in damage. Upon landing, you can right click to execute an immediate DSK. With well timed casts, you can repeat this two skills under BT over and over.
Blooming Kick EX – Adds an additional lift on your left click. The lift is swift, but you get a slow somersault animation with a short hang time in air. Thus, this skill is no longer just a filler, another core skill to take note of if you want to reset SE without ST buff.
Cyclone Kick EX – The iframe stays. It has a much faster casting animation now, making this skill A LOT safer to use. EX notes; with faster animation, it can be quite choppy towards the end. You may catch yourself Tumbling instead of using Tip Tops at the end of the skill as it isn’t as smooth as it seems.
Rising Storm EX – Added deep blue sprites. Cool looking, even more damage, better vacuum. I’m not too sure about the hit counts on the non-EX, but the EX have 14+1 hits, 1 being the final blow. Sends you flying high in air, which means its good for SE resetting without ST buff.
Air Sense – Whenever Air Pounce or Eagle Dive is used, you gain a non-removable buff which gives you 10% Patk. Also, remaining in Air for 3 seconds resets your SE’s cooldown. As much as it is a case of ‘Too good to be true’, it is by actual fact, indeed, too good to be true. Why? 3 seconds without ST buff is a pain. But no matter how hard it is, there will definitely be a way around it.
Notable skills:
-Spiral Kick EX, has a short airtime on the first part of the skill
-Eagle Dive, has a short airtime extension
-Blooming Kick EX, easiest skill to initiate with
-Rising Storm, puts you at a high-enough altitude to finish up the 3 seconds countdown
-Tip Tops, your vital skill to having your reset, chains your skills together
-Spirit Fling, another key skill, always used after/before Tip Tops
Now let's discuss the item build....
Equipment
Weapons first this time. We have;
-Black Dragon Legend grades
-Potentially, 80A ladder weapons that gives FD
You can also focur more on minor FD bonuses because Windwalkers have decently high BASE damage on their skills.
Armours, with FD being mentioned and slightly emphasized…
Asteroid Ranceia Set
2 pcs – 269 Vit
3 pcs – 842 P.atk
4 pcs – 366 FD
5 pcs – 2022 Critical
Black Dragon L grade armours
2 pcs – 363 FD
3 pcs – 2242 Critical
4 pcs – 1495 Patk
5 pcs – 1196 Agi
7 pcs – 440 FD, 12710 HP, 5931 MP
You can also go for a minimum of 50% FD as a Tempest, but as a Windwalker, you got higher base damages in your skills, if you rack up the cheaper FD options overall, you can get a minimum of around 15%. Putting it in a simpler way, Every 10m off your SE, you get an extra 1.5m on top. I’ve been hitting a good 50m+++ with ST buff on, and I’m very sure that small bit of FD will pay off.
Acceossories

Any set accessories that has FD set bonuses.
For now, we have in our reach is BDN L grade Rings
2 pcs – 374 Str, 374 Agi, 337 Int, 224 Vit

Our FD sets, both accessories and armours have the name ‘Comet’, and since I do not have fixed values of our FD set accessories.
Comet Ranceia Set Bonuses
2 pcs – 366 FD
3 pcs – 749 Patk and Matk
4 pcs – 439 FD
5 pcs – 674 Vit
7 pcs – 439 FD
Preferred Skill Plates
-Cyclone Kick Dmg; Few of those skills where you pay extra attention to, enough for it to get it plated
-Eagle Dive Dmg; Easily hitting up to 10m, plating it makes it worth
-Rising Storm Dmg; More damage on top of an already high damage skill! WEW!
-Spirit Boost CD; More SB uses leads us to more skill usage, and yes, SB helps with ST cooldowns
-Air Pounce Dmg; If you find yourself using this often, plate it
-Spiral Kick Dmg; Main tool of your Invincible Missile combo during while under ST buff, it is actually worth getting this plated
Note: Don't get a damage plate for SE because regular SE and Showtime’d SE are regarded by the game, as two different skills. With that being said, only our regular SE benefits from the plate, whereas our ST-buffed SE doesn’t.
Combined Skills
Defensives(Blue) – 5% HP, 3% dmg reduction, 1.5% additional MP Recovery
Offensives(Red) – 2% Additional Dmg
Utility(Yellow) – Once again, its ever-changing depending on what you do.
