maydang.blogspot.com - This post was long overdue. I even forgot the date when we visited Isabelo Garden Restaurant; looking at the photos, it was around last December 2, 2011. Whew! A year! But nevertheless, it is the experience that is worth keeping and reminiscing for. Ana and I surely will visit this wonderful romantic place one of these days.
We were invited with other food bloggers by Openrice for this Eat's A Date: Mini Eyeball Event. Good thing I had taken a photo of the flyer.

It was our first time to visit Isabelo Garden Restaurant and was even puzzled how to get there since we are were familiar in Marikina City. Upon entering the place, one would definitely love the ambiance and would be surprised how such cozy and cinematic garden exists in a busy city.
If you are looking for a very romantic place, good food at reasonable price, authentic filipino recipes, prompt service and warm hostess. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to explore, to dine at, to spend time with their special someone. Be it with your friends or love ones really, it is a dining experience you shouldn't miss.
We were greeted by the lovely and bubbly owner, Portia Baluyut and gave us some background how her passion for cooking started and how she converted their old place place into becoming a wonderful restaurant.

After which, she had our tummy full by serving us her sumptuous dishes. How I wish I could get some recipes for some dishes for they are so so yummy! Photos of these can be seen below. Pardon for the name since I lost my notes and I think I have to contact Portia to get the names for it. (Consider it done - Thanks Portia for the names.) (",)

To experience the savory dishes of Isabelo, you should call for a dinner reservation and have your visit be booked since they make it a point that your good food is prepared for cooking before you arrive since they assure the freshness of what they serve and to also lessen your waiting time.
And before making that call, you can take a look at this link for the Menu: Isabelo Garden Menu
