Special Night - Off The Grill - Link Vehicle

maydang.blogspot.com - It was not really that Ana and I went to Off the Grill Restaurant and Bar. It is one of the popularfood restaurants in Timog Avenue, Quezon City. They serve good food, affordable drinks, a nature-like ambience, and a performing band (different band every night) that will surely catch your appetite and ears while having your dinner or drinking session.

Well, it has been a while since the last time. We just had dinner there while listening to an all male band, though I forgot to jot down the name of their band.

Here are what we ordered:

Watermelon Shake and Four Seasons

I ordered Watermelon Shake and Ana had Four Seasons for our drinks. Though that time, it suddenly rain so hard, these drinks still are refreshing.

Lechon Kawali

One of our favorite dish when going out, Lechon Kawali. Well, you can usually see this good food dish in other dining out posts. Served with achara, cucumber and special lechon sauce.

Pinaputukang Pla-Pla (wrapped)

It was our first time to try their version of this good food, Pinaputukang Pla-pla. And we were a bit amazed that it was wrapped in banana leaves, coz what we usually noticed in most restaurants is that they use foil as a wrap for it. Pla pla is how we call it here in the Philippines is basically a large Tilapia which is sometimes called as St. Peter's fish.

This is how it looks like when we unwrapped it from the banana leaves. We just added the achara and cucumber from the Lechon Kawali to garnish, it is not included on the serving. It has tomato, onion and some green finger chili inside its belly. The mixture of which blends with the Pla pla giving a sumptuous and good food taste.

We had a couple of rice and some ice cold beer and had called it a night.
